This friend, who I’m calling The Yeller, comes to my back door every night recently and yells “ow wow wow wow wow wow ow” until I go to the door and open it, at which point they run a safe distance away and watch me. I care for three TNRed feral cats who generally chase off all other cats, and they don’t seem to mind this friend that much, so that combined with the shouting at the back door makes me think maybe this cat has a family and someone is missing them. They’ve been visiting near-daily for at least a few days, maybe a couple of weeks, but definitely not much longer than that. I’m hoping to continue making friends with them and get more info, such as , but so far I’ve only had glimpses mostly at night. If you’re missing this cat or think maybe you are, let’s chat!
