The emergency vet, petco or petsmart if there is a vet clinic inside can scan for a microchip for free and no appointment needed. Put a post on the neighborhood Nextdoor maybe someone will recognize it and know who the owner is. Put some found dog signs in the area. Make sure the person claiming the dog has proof of ownership....photos or veterinarian records etc. Please don't take to the overcrowded shelter it could be euthanized after the 3 day hold if not claimed by owner. Hope the owner is found soon 🙏
