He was found. His leg was injured but the vet said he'll live and they've scheduled him for surgery.

Thank you so much! He is still recovering at the vet. He had to have his leg amputated and later needed a blood transfusion. We’re hoping he’ll be released Tuesday or Wednesday to come home.

Leah McCoy I've shared the pawboost on nextdoor also looked a few times at Weatherford shelter website found/lost haven't seen a pic of him.. Prayers up on Safe Return of your Beautiful Furbaby Duke! ❤️

Post on Nextdoor Put out worn dirty clothes with your scent on. Hopefully, he will pick up the scent and find his way home.

Yeah, I did. I also talked to the fire department. Neither had any information. But the guy working the Mad Mac’s food truck saw the whole thing. He was positive it wasn’t our dog. But we’re still following up on the lead just in case. Even if he was hurt (or God forbid, dead) someone would have run across him by now. We’ve also had just as many people tell us they saw him running behind Albertsons that night. We’ve searched the area extensively but again, nothing. And no new sightings.
