Require proof of ownership. File online found reports with shelters. Take by vet to scan for chip. Post on Nextdoor and post flyers.

Please do Celinas suggestion she is legit and also put on Neighbor'sring App.When found in Rancho Cordova it is Sacramento SPCA Florin Perkins Rd jurisdiction.You need to file a found report with them. Also you can have Rancho 24 hour VCA on Old Winery do the first scan for a microchip.If not detected then have SPCA do a second one.If you're willing to hold make sure you inform SPCA.. It will be extremely appreciated there's no room at the shelters especially now with these heavy winds we've had the last few days. Microchips are so tiny many times missed on the first scan and detected on another scanner.Still get proof no matter what for its safety
