*Check P.A.W.S IN PERSON, asap and often! Also check CHATTOOGA COUNTY ANIMAL CONTROL
*Call vets in case he was brought in with an injury or to be scanned for a chip
*Check with neighbors, especially those who have dogs. If he's not neutered he may be with other dogs
*Take a flashlight and look anywhere he could hide - under steps, porches, houses and any outbuildings he could have gotten into
*Check wooded areas where he could have gotten caught up in brush or fencing
*LOOK NEAR SOURCES OF WATER
*Look and post on Nextdoor and other Lost/Found sites. Some people post on one and not others. Be sure to check here for 'Found' posts
*Check Craigslist and other listings for 'DOGS FOR SALE' if you think he might have been stolen
*POST BRIGHTLY COLORED FLYERS! Not everyone does social media.
*Try going out late at night and early morning to call and LISTEN for him. If he's scared he might not respond immediately to being called
*If Bentley has something with his scent on it, like a blanket or bed, put it outside along with something with your scent on it, like dirty socks
*Don't limit your search to your immediate area. Dogs can travel for miles, especially if they're with other dogs
*BE WARY OF SCAMMERS! They often say they have your pet and want you to contact them via Messenger. The wording is usually a little off. Also those 'recommending' search groups via Instagram
*Hope you find him soon! Please update your Pawboost post when you do! 🙏
