🚨My Rowdy Cat is missing again! 🚨 I had to post him 6 weeks ago when we had just moved to the area.. He has gotten used to the area now.. we live far off the road but backs up to the River Birch neighborhood off Roy Arnold Rd which is off east Compton! We are currently in the process of building an outdoor catio/enclosure for but we had to take down his old one at our other hse to use some of the materials. When we are outside he always comes back to me when I call him. 2 days ago he ran into the tress behind us and has not came back. I’m thinking someone let him in their home since he has not done this once since I last posted him and I have not seen him posted anywhere either! I have put up flyers on all stop signs near us and he is microchipped! If you see my baby please call me asap Thank you so much! 🙏❤️

Stacey Floyd yes I saw it to. Someone post that they found a bengal and it had a collar on but I can’t remember what site it was on. I’m going to look for it.

Check animal shelters often put flyers there and everywhere including your car’s backside windows also; get a trap from there put food alllllll the way in back set it then a bunch of branches on top otherwise; they won’t go in keep an eye cause you might catch other animals that you’ll release repeat above worked for us took two weeks but we got her time varies of course if you see your baby by the trap DON’T go outside wait till he’s trapped cause you could spook him . Prayers <3

Candace Perry when he comes home build a catio! They can still be outside but not wander off and are safe from cars, people stealing them and predators. I feel that all cats should be kept indoors unless feral. I can actually recommend someone that can build one for you. I sure hope he comes home!! Let me know if you need the contact info.

Sheila Martin Thank you for the tips!! I have one other cat but she never leaves the porch she’s scared to wonder off! She’s scared of anyone she doesn’t know but Rowdy is complete opposite he is very friendly with anyone he meets! There are other cats that roam behind us, my sisters mother in law lives behind us and she says quite a few cats come to her house often including Rowdy. I can call him and he will always come to me from wherever he is at he is VERY vocal being a bengal and I can usually hear him coming he always calls back to me! Hopefully he will come back soon! 🙏

Carol Shepler He is microchipped so they should call me if he is found by an animal shelter but I will call and check!

Chances are he hasn’t gone too far. Get a flashlight (good one with a good strong beam that goes far), a safety vest (get at Home Depot when u go for flashlight), small Tupperware with food and or bag of treats to crinkle. I was also armed but this is your choice. Go out at night between 12-4am whilst everyone is asleep and it’s quiet. Walk slowly around your neighborhood and call for him. Ufcse your normal non stressed voice just like you’d call him in the house, loud enough for him to hear but don’t yell. Leave pauses in between so you can hear HIM if he calls back to you he could be stuck in a back house with or garage, or come to you wuhen he hears you. Shine that light everywhere including UP in the trees, under porches and cars you will catch the reflection in his eyes if you come across him. Do this as often as you can. Also. Hang fffyour dirty laundry outside and try and put something at each corner of the property. Are there other cats outside? Do you have a trap? There’s also a chance he could come back at night whilst you are asleep so you can set a humane trap for him. If you are going to do this make sure you get clear instruction before you do. You cannot just set the trap and go to sleep. My Pooh Bear was gone for 37 days and he came home so don’t give up. FLYERS and make sure to ask people to please check their back houses and garages on the flyer. Also put up a flyer in your yard like a sign and make sure you give one to your mail carrier. DO NOT put the litter box out it will attract predators. - [ ]
