Message from Owner

My cat Phoenix got out last night while moving things around in my hse. He’s 12 years old and has never been outside. I’ve had him since I was 18 when he was a kitten. He means the world to me and I would do anything to have him back . He responds to his name and tummy yummys and is very friendly but may be scared since he’s never been outside. If anyone finds him please call me at or.

PLEASE, PLEASE CHECK UNDER YOUR HOOD BEFORE DRIVING . Place some of your soiled clothing outside out of the weather. Walk the neighborhood shaking a food container and calling out in your normal voice. Do this early morning , daytime, early evening until midnight or later. Take a flashlight and look under bushes, up in trees, brush piles, under cars and under the car hood. Their eyes will reflect the light. Also outbuildings and garages as they may have accidentally gotten trapped. As you call out wait a few minutes before you move on to the next place. Give them time to respond to your voice, they are probably scared and won’t respond right away. Personally visit the shelters and humane society every 2 days as they only keep strays for a certain amount of time . Make up flyers and post around the neighborhood and stores including your home. Laminate them or waterproof them with storage size baggies. Place some smelly food in your window sill with the window open. Talk and communicate with your neighbors. Offer a reward if possible. Good luck.
