If you lost a pet: Visit Lexington-FayetteAnimal Care & Control or your local animal control in person every other day, strays can be adopted out after 3 days for cats, 5 days for dogs. Put flyers everywhere. Post to Lost and Found Pets of Lex Scroll Lost and Found Pets of of Lex and Pawboost for posts about found Ignore suggestions re instagram If its been more than 3 days also need to visit Lex Humane Society daily.

Tips: --Please check nearby storm drains and sewer pipes. --Vehicle engines and tire wells. --Attics, closets, and bats. --Garages and sheds. --Bushes and trees. --Under buildings and porches. --Search outside at dawn and dusk when it's quiet. Using a flashlight may help. --Set out your old clothes so your cat may detect a familiar scent. Good luck.
