Brown and black mixed coat. Male, not neutered. Very skittish/nervous until he warmed up after an hour.

I found this pup chasing geese into the lake behind the hse. He was very skittish and nervous. I was able to lure him in my backyard with treats. I’ve called animal control but it’s been over an hour. His tail is finally not tucked and he’s been enjoying playing fetch. If he’s part of your family, please let me know! My hearts broken for him.

Call Virginia Beach Animal Control again. They will check for a microchip and post on stray hold for owner to reclaim with proof of ownership. Not everyone sees Facebook posts and may go to the shelter to look for a lost pet. You can take the dho to Virginia Beach Animal Care and Adoption Center for the microchip scan and the stray hold notification.
