I uploaded this cat on petfinder and notified the local Allentown humane society twice, last November and just a few months ago. Nobody has ever gotten back to me, so I figured I try pawboost. I fed this cat one time back in October at the first sighting, and it was attached to the hip ever since, and never left the vicinity of my yard. This cat appears to be a purebred Turkish Angora, and is extremely friendly, social, and docile. Practically a lap cat. It's a male, and is not fixed yet. I never really looked to see, as it was hard to tell with the long coat and I didn't have the time set up an appointment as weekends were usually completely booked. He also has a very destinctive meow. After posting online last year, I tried to adopt and introduce this cat to my indoor cats, but they weren't having it, so I built another insulated shelter underneath the deck. This white cat gets along fairly well with the other 3 community cats that still come to my hse daily. I currently have three well insulated shelter homes to hse them. I'm in the process of moving within the next 30 days, and I'm hoping this cat finds it's TRUE owner with the last bit of hope I have. This cat is way too nice not to have one. If I have no luck finding its true owner, I'll adopt it and do my absolute best to take him in before I leave. I currently have an appointment this coming week to finally get him fixed and vaccinated, hopefully he's microchipped.

You nailed it- a cat that lovey-dovey isn’t feral. Thanks for looking out for him. He wants inside a lot I bet because that’s where the people are. Good luck w/your appointments. Things may well go easier once he’s fixed. When we had to introduce a new cat to our gang, we gave the newbie her own room with a shut door. Swapped bedding around so they’d get to know each others’ scent. Then went to a baby gate so they could see. Used to feed our old ones right by her door so they’d associate happy eating time with her. Gave everyone catnip together too. Moved the gate more so she was more in the household. By the time we let her out things were pretty ok. Everybody hissed and established boundaries but no massive fights, just warnings til they all relaxed. The fact this guy is already docile is in your favor too. If for whatever reason you have to do otherwise, please find a rescue or shelter that can thoroughly check out any potential adopter. There may even be rescues that will do that for you while you continue to foster/care for him. Please use megacaution w/anyone saying “I’ll take it.” Your post is public and may get shared anywhere. There’s rotten people who troll FB groups looking for free animals for unsavory things (like bait animals to train fighting dogs or for target practice… and they usually send their girlfriend with a child so you’d never guess). But you already have a great relationship with him, and I’m praying you can make it work.

Hi, I’m the original person that posted this, and since I don’t have a FB account, I got the permission to use my Mom’s. I’ve tried taken him to the vet 3 times if I remember correctly since last December, and since I’m only available on weekends, along with vet cancellations, it never worked out. I’m finally getting him fixed, vaxxed and checked out this week. I’ll provide an update after the vet visit, hopefully no cancellations. If I can’t get my indoor cats to like him, I’ll surrender him upon the wishes he goes to a good home. To whoever the original owner is, I’m sorry for stealing your cat, I did everything I could in my power to find you.

Please contact a rescue. There are many. They can set up a trap and he can be given the necessary medical attention and get him adopted.
