He looks like a Mango,he is very bright colored in green yellow and orange. He is shy around new people!! Please just handle him with care if you find him but please attempt to catch him. Talk in a high pitched voice, call him Mangito or Mango.

I’ve had Mango since I graduated middle school and he has been with me through high school. Now that I have been away from college, I come to greet him and he is my baby. I came recently and noticed he was gone and was told he “escaped” since the door was unexpectedly left open. I love him and want him to be found. I have been looking but my poor baby is probably so scared.

Here are some ideas to assist in your search. *Create a post on Pawboost, NextDoor & Ring, if you haven’t already. *During the daytime: use a wireless Bluetooth speaker to broadcast flock calls or your voice, shake treat bags or anything that might attract attention to food, put the cage out where it can be seen. *During the evening when searching is over, design & print off flyers with photo & contact information. These can be encased in a ziplock to keep weatherproof & posted in areas where allowed like parks, poles & any nearby gathering areas. Also drop off some at vet clinics, pet supply stores, anything within a 5 mile radius. Contact local shelters/rescues & even the police dept - they do pick up found/stray pets all the time. Make sure the world knows - neighbors esp ones that have bird feeders/baths/pools. Hand them out while searching the area. Join every local social media group there is. Run an ad in your local newspaper - some run one for free in lost & found (or cheap). Also check with local bird watcher groups - they’re always out & about. Flyers cannot be placed in mailboxes. *PLEASE CHECK WITH LOCAL ANIMAL SHELTERS & FILE A MISSING PET REPORT*
