Message from Owner

My cat Oliver (weighs approximately 18 pounds) jumped out the sliding door on me while I was feeding my three stray cats; a raccoon scared him and he ran. While I was trying to shoo the raccoon with the broom, I lost sight of Oliver. I frantically looked for him everywhere both day and night and nothing. My heart is so broken; I miss & love him so much! I have prayed and prayed but that hasn’t worked either. I am offering a $500 reward for his return. Please, please help!

Try lostmykitty.com they have a service that sends out a lost pet alert to the phones in your area with a description and your phone number asking people to check their basements, garages and sheds. There is a fee, but that’s how I found my cat. If you can print out flyers, give them to your mail carriers and your neighbors and put them on their porches as well as on telephone poles. Also give them to the animal shelters and the veterinarian’s offices. If there are businesses nearby, ask if you can put a flyer in their window. πŸ’”πŸ™οΏΌ

Rent or borrow a humane trap. The SPCA and other animal shelters rent them out for $100. When you return the trap you get your $100 back. Place the trap near where the cat escaped. Put some of the cat's favorite food and treats inside of the trap along with an article of your clothing with your scent on it. This method worked for me on two different occasions. If you trap the wrong cat or some other animal, put a blanket over the trap leaving the door exposed. Stand behind the trap and release the animal. Reset the trap. Time is of the essence so do this asap. Good luck and God bless.
