Sherri Golden a real person will call you and tell you I think I have your dog. Where can we meet. Not text. the scammers have delays between texts to get the owner desperate so they can work them for a $ demand. Play along. As soon as you suspect scam you can put on lost pets of phoenix or nextdoor and ask people if its a scam. I've also had owners hang up on legit leads thinking they were scams.

Many think sharing is the goal. it IS NOT. We don't need a bunch of shares. We need to reach the people in the immediate vicinity. I hope you'll head back out tonight. I have helped owners over the last month and 5 dogs because owners were being told the wrong things that didn't work best in the beginning and they found their dog too late. Others wouldn't go out to look because it was late and they were going to bed. Found their dogs deceased the next day. Some assume their dog will be ok until they can get up and look tomorrow. It doesn't work like that.

Sherri Golden she is likely within a mile of your house. Now is an excellent time to go look. Please do. Flashlight looking for eyes. Sites don't find the dog as much as heavy looking in person, and going out now, as well as posting every 2 hours on nextdoor. People know you mean business when you post frequestly on there. She needs you to find her. Coyotes are brutal. She can't be far. I would post every hour tonight. at least 3 times.

Sherri Golden hi sharing is not your goal. It's too slow it's too few people the goal is you sharing in the right place. And that's next door. Please get your post up please feel free to copy and paste what I wrote up. I know it seems a bit dramatic but your dog's life is seriously on the line there is a pack of six coyotes in that neighborhood so you want to be dramatic because you want to remind people this is how much danger my dogs in I need help right now. Every time owners try to be calm about it it seems like they don't get their dog back in time. We've lost 5 in Sun City in the last month. I'm sure there are more. I would like you to get yours back safe and alive.

A high % of Lost Pet cases are solved in their neighborhood!!! THAT'S WHERE THE SEARCH NEEDS TO BE! This is why the neighborhood apps work best. Post at least three times a day on both of them. Dogs: Many lost dogs are found within 1–2 miles of where they went missing, especially if they escaped from home. Depending on the dog's personality and circumstances, some stay within a few blocks while others travel much farther. Cats: Indoor cats that get outside are often found very close to home—frequently within a few houses to about 500 feet (150 m). Outdoor cats and more adventurous cats may roam farther, (usually within a block) but many are discovered hiding nearby. THIS WHY OWNERS SHOULD BE ON BOTH NEXT DOOR AS WELL AS THE NEIGHBORS BY RING APP POSTING THREE TIMES A DAY. AND PUTTING UP VERY SIMPLE FLYERS SO PEOPLE CAN READ THEM FROM 20 FT AWAY (a flyer doesn't work if nobody can read it): REWARD AMOUNT PHONE NUMBER ONE BIG CLEAR PICTURE OF THE PET. Don't even put lost dog on there. The reward is your attention grabbing headline. Get at least 40 Flyers up at the major intersections north south east and west of you. All four sides of the intersection. And at the exit points from your subdivision and the one across the street from you. Should take about an hour. Do more if you can but it's hot. The next day put another 40 up expanding your range by a mile.
