Henry is blind in both eyes. He is a hse cat and has never gotten outside before. We are worried and just want him back.

Go outside at night at try to call him. Cats are more likely to hide during the day with all the traffic and people noise

Do you know for sure that he got outside? Did you check closets, cupboards, behind dressers, etc? Many times cats hide in the house and don't say anything, especially if ill. Try calling for them in a higher baby voice which they respond to better. Outside look under decks, behind junk piles, under wheel wells on cars, garages. Ask neighbors to check their garages, etc. Put out some tuna or favorite wet food and a familiar smelling blanket or clothing article in a live-trap. Cats can smell tuna up to 3÷ miles away!
