Message from Finder

I found this guy last night with no collar. I went to the vet to get him checked for a microchip but he doesn’t have one unfortunately. If keeping him was an option, I would. I don’t have the time to give the love that he deserves, and would really like to find his owner or another loving home for him.

Janet Wilson Campbell Overman do you mean his fur or what looks not well cared for? His fur could be from him being outside. Dogs like him get matted very easily. I have a imperial shih tzu and closer to her grooming date her hair looks like that after going outside and she gets brushed daily before bedtime, She is so little it drags the ground. She is only only 8lbs. He looks well fed, and appears healthy to me otherwise. Hard to really tell just from 1 pic though.

Amy Rector the people that found him said they were taking him to McKamey. He’s on a 10 day stray hold and cannot be adopted. They are giving time for his family to be located. I have completed an application, just waiting for him to become available.

Connie Robertson Scholl why not just go get him rather than letting him go to an overcrowded place? Our rescues and shelters are hammered atm. Plus it'll keep him from being over medicated and vaccinated. No telling when he had those last so could have been recent and not good to have them done often like that esp if he isnt young.

I hope her owner finds him. I’m sure they are missing each other. He looks a lot like my small Cockapoo. Prayers for someone to rescue and care for him. Thanks for helping him. ❤️🐾💖
