LOST MALE CAT THE COLONY - Our cat Duke went missing thu. He doesn’t normally get out and if he does, he doesn’t wander off very far. He is 11 years old. Grey body, white belly, white paws. We would greatly appreciate any help finding him. If you see or have seen him, please message me. He went missing on Acacia pass in the colony. He’s also chipped.

Maegan Elkins so sorry to hear that. I've often wondered if there's a way to implant a tracking chip in my cats. I live in the country with varying degrees of coyotes, depending on the weather and having outdoor cats (their choice, not mine) is an emotional roller-coaster.

There's a fundamental difference between how far an un- neutered male will travel and of course a neutered male. They can smell females over very long distances. They also take risks neutered males won't. Hopefully he's home safe soon. I had an unaltered male dissappear for 5 days. I had literally given up, and was going out to post signs when he walked up, thirsty and hungry but okay. He was neutered the next week.
