Message from Owner

Charlie is missed by us all and most of all my youngest child who autistic and loved cuddling with Charlie he was my sons comforter. He asks after him every day and every night waiting at the back door and looking out the window for any sign of him coming . Charlie is chipped and neutered and belong to a very loving family. We need him

Empty vaccum contents in the garden put unwashed clothing on the washing line. Post leaflets through letter boxes asking to check sheds garages put missing posters up in and around surrounding areas also go searching at night with a torch cats eye's reflect off the light

Why oh why are there so many many cats disappearing everywhere. It's heartbreaking and I cannot bear to hear what can happen to them, it breaks my heart. I pray that your beautiful kitty is found safe and well ❤

When you go searching always take a Torch as that will reflect the cats eyes in dark places. go searching late and early when its quiet, (dusk and dawn)shake treats, call and listen and wait , cats need time to respond, call when walking towards home 🐾Look up Trees/roof tops, empty houses, church yards, cellars, sheds/garages 🐾Look In hedges, bushes, bramble, ditches 🐾A red torch should be used for hedge searching at night. They will move away from a standard torch or close their eyes 🐾Search Under decking and under sheds garages, under floorboards , tarpaulins , behind meter box 🐾Behind bins and under cars in case injured 🐾Down any steep embankments, rabbit holes, ponds, drains, water butts 🐾Gaps In between fences and buildings, 🐾Ask people to leave sheds garages open a while to give a trapped cat time to escape as they wont just run out, they hide in fear 🐾When searching in bushes etc,get down to cat level as its easier to see them or use walking sticks upside down for ease, using the L ....shaped handle ....for moving bushes aside to gently search 🐾Put posters up and leaflet houses 🐾Check any CCTV and ask neighbors to check also, see if he was picked up or got in a vehicle 🐾Put familiar smells out, cat toys, blanket, empty hoover contents in garden, Open the windows of your house and get the house smells outside. 🐾Hang your used unwashed bed sheets out, t shirts, smelly socks 🐾Make sure there is a way for your cat to get back in your house, even when you are asleep, maybe wedge open the cat flap, or leave a window open 🐾Asrk postman to keep a look out, let him have a leaflet, they go to most houses daily 🐾Contact all vets in the area, the local council, cat rescues and microchip company to let them know and flag them up as missing
