If this is an indoor only cat that never goes out, look close. Indoor only cats when lost get scared and hide because it is unknown territory and usually do not come out when you call. Usually are within 3 or 4 houses . Put out something with your scent such as a piece of clothing or blanket. Call at dusk, dawn and night and shake the treats. Get in your neighbour's yards and look under decks, sheds, in trees, bushes or anywhere they can hide. Put up lots of posters. Thank you. That is about the time he left. I was not sleeping well and went to make a cup of tea. The dog had followed me and wanted out. The I opened the door for Adele and Strudel slipped out and was over the neighbour's fence before I could stop him. I will try that.
