Message from Finder

I found a mother cat with two kittens. She looks young and the kittens look like maybe 2 weeks old; they are still nursing. SPCA turned us away and I have been calling or emailing numerous rescues. Can you help?

I can keep them out of the heat if no one else can. I’m near TCC. I have a male black Bombay 11 months old

If finder needs a kennel to put her and two babies in I could loan to them until one of the kitten rescues steps up, I’m close to Edwin

They need to stay with their mother till they’re eight weeks old, six at the earliest. They should be weaned when mom wants to wean them. They get protection from the mother’s milk.

She is most likely not an owned cat & is probably feral. Make sure she has food & water while she's nursing. Babies can be separated from her around 5-6 weeks old & then mama can be spayed, vaccinated & returned to your location. Reach out to Feral Affairs Network.

Mama and babies need to be trapped and fostered, please someone step up to help. I still have a stray mama that was just spayed or I would do it.

Why did the SPCA turn you away. They can’t possibly survive out in this heat
