Try posting "found cat" signs around the area, without a full description. That way, if the true owners come forward, they will be able to give details that others would not be able to. Is it possible for you to safely crate and take the kitty to be scanned for a microchip? The effectiveness of signs posted quickly all around the area can not be overstated. Reaches those not on social media and lets neighbors know you are seeking the owners.. Thank you for caring for this sweet kitty!
