MESSAGE FROM OWNER

Lucy and Paisley will answer to their names and come. Paisley is the more timid dog but will follow her sister's lead. If chased or ran after they will think it's a game and run off. They also respond well to a woman/girl being playful/using a silly voice. Any help at all would be amazing!!

DESCRIPTION

Two charcoal golden doodles - sisters. About 40lbs each. Very friendly but can get nervous so please just call in any sightings!!

Mark Ferry The weirdest thing was the woman who posted who was from the Holcombe Hill area. Usually people who have something to say continue to post now and again at the very least, just as I am doing. This was someone who purportedly saw two dogs matching the description of the missing dogs early on. What I don't know is whether your friend's sister ever connected with that woman. You know that area. Some large estates up there. None of this felt like the usual missing dog as it evolved. Would love to hear some good news or bad. (Their posters are hanging at WAGS where I bring my dog.) I also offered to bring my dog to Holcombe Hill that day as a lure, but got no response. Please feel free to reach out if you have any news or if there's anything I can do.

Nancy Bocian you and I are in the same neighborhood. The lack of sightings is just strange for this area.

Mark Ferry As I remember, I was in on it kind of from the beginning. I was on something called Neighborhood. It's an email chain. Someone, probably your friend's sister, posted that her two dogs were missing. (she lives in Brookfield I think.) I'm on the Brookfield end of Currituck (if you know Newtown) near Obtuse North. So my ears and eyes got alert. Shortly thereafter someone posted that they saw two dogs that looked like Goldendoodes near Holcombe Hill which is still northern Newtown but at least three miles from me. I reached out to the poster who saw the dogs to explain the situation. She never replied to me. So I reached out to the OP to explain what I had read and pass along the woman's posting. I also offered to go over to Holcombe Hill which is a place people walk dogs to look for her dogs, but I think she told me not to or didn't reply. As far as I know the OP and woman never got in touch. And the woman who supposedly saw the two matching dogs never posted again which was weird.

Nancy Bocian ah okay. I grew up with the older sister of the owner. It seems like the overall feeling is that they’ve maybe been stolen. It’s very odd the lack of spotting these dogs

Mark Ferry This was right after they went missing, or within a day.
