I have done all of that except the nextdoor.com but the problem is, the person my dog escaped from lives in another County and I cannot set up an account near that area without verifying that I live there. Any suggestions? I live in Richmond but my dog was lost all the way in Montpelier when I was away on vacation.

Put fliers out immediately so that if someone picked up for safekeeping they know who to call also post on nextdoor.com and make a lost Report with the shelter and go there every single day and look at every single dog picked up and make sure you go in person I would also knock on everybody's door as well
