Description

Black and white tuxedo cat, almost a year old , super friendly but scared of loud sounds (cars specifically) white mark on chest looks like the Batman logo ironically, medium sized not super small not too big .

Message from Owner

He’s extremely sweet and responds to the names Simba , Squishy and Mr hotdog boy because he likes laying out long like a hot dog 😭😭 He got out between sometime early morning or around 4 in the morning . Woke up and I couldn’t find him when it was time for his feeding . He is the sweetest most cuddly cat on this planet but I’m sure he is absolutely Petrified at the moment . He’s gone onto the balcony with me and my husband in the past and has never taken off before he will run back into the hse if he hears a car so that’s my main concern at the moment that with all the activity outside now he is probably so scared . Please help me get my baby

I tried but I can’t find him now 😞 he is clearly staying in the area and knows where home is so I’m hoping he gets hungry and comes home

Shyla Serenity Kimble maybe bring some food or treats he really likes, and try to lure him with that. You don’t want me to get scared and ran further away from your home.

These steps must be done right away and must be done everyday 🙏 Place a bit of his soiled litter outside, not the full litter box (sheltered from the rain, so not to get it wet). But leave it out only during the day, do not leave it outside when it gets dark and not overnight. It may attract other animals. You should also place a blanket or a piece of clothing with his scent on it outside as well. He may be able to smell his own scent and find his way home 🤞 Put out his food and a water bowl, in the same place everyday. You want him to stay close by. But don’t leave the food out when it’s dark, bring it back inside. If possible, leave an exit door or window opened so your cat can get back inside. You need to go out looking for him early mornings and late nights, calling his name and bring his favorite treats. He must be scared and hiding close by. But don’t walk too far from your home, you don’t want him to follow the sound of your voice and be that much further away from home. You want him to stay close by 🤞 Tell neighbors to look out for him, to check under and inside their sheds, garages, under balconies, etc… I would strongly suggest to ask your neighbours if you can go in their backyards and check for your cat yourself. Someone lost their cat and found her weeks later stuck inside a Cabano, not alive 😔 And very important to put up flyers in and around the area (for people not on FB). Even place them inside mailboxes. You should open a missing cat file with the Montreal SPCA and with ProAnima Montreal. If your cat is found and brought there, they will contact you. Also, join Petluck Group and post him on that group as well: https://www.facebook.com/groups/Petluck/?ref=share

Update he’s staying in the area. I just seen him, but he ran under the church near my house because a car passed him really fast. He heard me call his nickname and he came out.
