I have seen this dog at Winston Lake at one of the parks for 4 days now. He doesn’t allow you to get to close & will bark and growl when approached. He has a collar on and looks very lost and sad. He has stayed at same place now for days. Seems to be getting weaker, although I have feed and watered him when I have came by. Please help find his home! He is a good boy, just scared!

Don't chase but sit patiently, facing away from him with some smelly treats like pieces of hot dog wieners or stinky cheese. Make noise with the bag the treats are in and pretend to eat them. Don't make eye contact and yawn a few times so he feels that you're no threat. Have a slip lead ready to slip over his head if you feel comfortable doing that and bring him inside.

Usually a Humane Society or Animal Shelter have traps to loan out for this but if not you will be able to gain his trust by feeding and giving him water to help gain trust.

Please set up a safe feeding station until he gains trust and then set a humane trap to rescue him . Probably was dumped there 💔
