Go out between the hours of 2-4:30am and quietly call his name around your home and a few houses down each way. He is likely hiding and will come out during these calmer and quiet hours. After calling for him quietly, sit and wait in your driveway or porch etc. and listen. This is how I found my indoor cat, Michi, that got outside once when I had roommates many years ago.

Elizabeth Amores don’t give up looking. I had a friend whose cat was missing 3 weeks before she found him. She ended up hiring a tracker and put out a baited humane trap with a camera.

Put out some worn clothing on your porch. Notify all your neighbors he is missing and ask them to check under their decks, house and in their garage and any outbuildings they might have. Put up posters with his picture and your phone number around your neighborhood. Posters work. Lots of people have found their cats because neighbors saw their posters. You might also want to go out and look after dark with a flashlight. They typically don’t stray too far from home.
