Hi everyone. Thank you for your comments. I have been out of town this week when I posted this. They say bunny is still hanging around. I am in contact with Bun Bun Rescue so when I get back I will meet them at my son’s house and hopefully we can get the baby to Young Williams. I appreciate everyone’s help.

Sadly likely dumped, not lost. I hope they are taken to YW or another rescue.

Yes, please bring to Young WilliamsAnimal shelter. Don’t let anybody take him if they don’t show any proof that the bunny belongs to them, otherwise people will be abusive and not take care of him.

Please take that poor baby to Young Williams. It's definitely a domesticated bunny.

Contact Operation bun bun or take the bun to Young Williams. They can hold the rabbit as a stray hold before spaying/neutering and finding a home.

If able, try posting on the local Nextdoor app (if possible), lost .petcolove .org and watching craigslist. If you post to other groups, be sure to add the county, city and state to your posting since the posting may be shared nationally. Also, take flyers to shelters and vet offices with a photo and report the pet found. They have a board for both lost and found pets. Remember, not everyone is on Social Media. (Ask for proof of ownership by either vet records or a picture from the phone.)
