Description

Orange tabby with kneesocks and a white mustache and an orange bottom lip. She's around 9 lbs. She has large amber eyes. As the fur around her neck is incredibly thick, we wouldn't force her to wear her collar since it seemed she had difficulty tolerating it. She is chipped.

Message from Owner

She has been with me ever since I took her late mother (past when Fathead was still a kitten) in. She is my darling girl. Her siblings are wondering where she is, circling around her usual spots. She escaped out of a window in the laundry room as an older person in my home forgot to close. She's naturally more on the skittish side, but she's curious beyond all else. She's my sweetie girl. Please help me find her as her disappearance has confused her siblings and left all of us heartbroken. Your kindness is deeply appreciated.

So sorry to hear that your cat is missing, here are some things that might help in your search. Put out things smell like your cat, like their toys, bed, definitely their favorite food and water. And things that smell like you such as a shirt or blanket. Double check every place in your house, crawlspaces, sheds, and garages, and in the bushes around your house. Ask neighbors to do the same. Cats will hide in the darndest places. Get flyers up in the area and make sure your neighbors are all aware to be on the lookout. Post on PawBoost and all the Lost Pet sites for where you live, and those will get shared. Constantly check with all of the animal shelters and they're posting a lot their intakes on Facebook. Also check with vets in the area. You can set out a humane trap and see if you can catch your kitty that way. If your cat is micro chipped, which I hope it is, check with the microchip company in case somebody finds your cat . If you have Ring or other security cameras outside, check those, and ask neighbors if they can check theirs as well. And if you've heard about coyotes in the area, please don't continue to let them outside. Please bring them inside and keep them inside to keep them safe going forward.
