Hoping you find this puss😕❤️ Go out looking for her/him at night when it’s quiet. Call and listen! for them to call back. Go down laneways etc too - they could be trapped in a garage, injured & hiding, scared… Knock on doors & talk to people on the street - they may know of her/him - someone may have taken them in. Post on All Neighbourhood social media sites. Put up posters - drop as flyers in mailboxes. File a LOST report with Toronto/other Animal Services in case they end up there - continue to check their listings! Continue to call - they won’t necessarily call you. Also, check their ‘deceased animals’ listings 🥲 Consider setting a well-monitored live trap in your yard. He may be too scared to come out but may be able to be trapped. You may catch other critters that will need to be released. Keep looking! Don’t give up on her/him .🥰

Shared. If you have not yet done so, ASAP notify Toronto Animal Services and check their website for found cats. Note that TWO days is a long time to a cat so you have no time to waste. If you have not done ALL these things do them now, if you have go further in your search Carefully check around your home and property, focusing on small, hidden spots like closets, dresser drawers and hidden nooks and crannies, as cats often hide nearby when scared. Search all nearby shrubs, bushes and trees, window wells, garages and sheds. Ask nearby neighbours to do the same. Alert local vet offices, rescues and shelters. Cats will usually stay near the door they left for a day or two before searching for food. Intact male cats can travel a long way to find females in heat and have trouble finding their way back home. Advise local feral cat feeders who may spot him searching for food. In case he's hiding nearby or manages to find his way back, leave his used littler and some food and water in hidden places near the door he left NOW and check in the evening. See Pawboost for more ways to find and sample posters. Put a notice in nearby neighbours mailboxes, post on local notices boards, in community centres, churches and schools. Go out after dark bring food and treats, search a 5-10 block radius, stop periodically and softly call but do not make an loud noises or sudden moves. Lost cats are terrified and do not recognize their owner as safe.

- [ ] The kitty is probably hiding close to home and scared. Call the kitty’s name softly morning noon and night. Late at night. Rattle a treats bag. Put out toys and food and water. Rig up a cat shelter - place articles of clothing and blankets that smell like home in the shelter. Posters work. Make posters and put them up everywhere with your phone number visibly on the poster. Ask for sightings. Don’t give up. He may be stuck somewhere. Ask your neighbours to please check their garages and sheds or ask if you can accompany them and check
