I’m sorry he’s missing! Indoor cats usually find a place to hide nearby. Please search your yard and ask neighbors to do the same. Look under decks, cars, bushes, in sheds, garages, window wells, anywhere he could hide. You can try to lure him home by putting laundry with your scent on it and your dog’s bed outside. Also, walk or drive around the neighborhood with treats and smelly food that he likes while calmly calling his name.
If you haven’t already please report him missing to local police, animal welfare, shelters and veterinary clinics in and around your area. It’s better to visit animal control and shelters in person and ask to see the cats being held. Check back with them daily because some shelters only hold strays for a few days, after which they can be adopted out.
Let neighbors know he is missing and ask them to check their yards and cameras. Put flyers up and/or distribute in your neighborhood.
