🚨 MISSING CAT — PLEASE HELP FIND IZZY 🚨 Last seen near: Stanford Ave / Harbinson Ave / Lowell St in La Mesa Missing since: April 19 My young male cat Izzy has been missing since April 19 and has not come , which is very unlike him. His collar was found in my front yard, so he may not be wearing one now. DESCRIPTION: • Name: Izzy • : Male • Age: Under 1 year • Color: Black • Eyes: Yellow • Microchipped: Yes (HomeAgain) • Personality: Friendly, but may be frightened and hiding silently IMPORTANT: Cats who disappear suddenly are often trapped in a grge, shed, under a deck, or in a crawl space. If you live near Stanford / Harbinson / Lowell, please physically open any enclosed spaces — even if you think he couldn’t have gotten inside. WHAT TO LOOK FOR: • A black cat hiding under bushes, porches, or cars • Yellow eye shine at night with a flashlight • A cat that won’t meow or come when called (normal when scared) If you see him or even think you might have seen him, please message me right away. Thank you so much — I’m really worried about him and appreciate any help from neighbors.

General Information: Set up a scent station. Hang clothes with your scent on it (Worn clothing from owner) high up outside so the familiar scent can travel and guide the cat back home. Ask your neighbors to check their yard/could be accidently stuck in their garage or shed. (If applicable) Check doorbell or home camera - or ask neighbors to check their camera. Post Fliers with a picture of the cat and your contact information in the area the cat went missing. Not everyone is on Social Media and posters have worked in that if spotted a location can be provided. If a cat is scared they make themselves safe by finding a good hiding spot and often times hide in silence. Look in bushes - bring a flashlight and look for shining eyes. Best time to find your cat is in the early morning hours when the noise level is low and they feel safe. Leave an access point open for the cat to return. This is important if they do come back in the middle of the night. Prayers your cat returns/ or is found safely. Beware of scammers.
