Post Online: Share on local lost & found pet pages and apps like: • Nextdoor • PawBoost • Ring (Neighbors app) • Local Facebook groups 2. Scan for a Microchip: Take the dog to a vet or animal shelter to scan for a chip. Many rescuers also carry scanners - ask around! 3. Put Up “FOUND DOG” Signs: Hang posters in the neighborhood - NOT everyone uses social media. 4. File a Found Report with Your Local Shelter. This is essential and often legally required. 5.
