Are these the dogs that are Always running loose in their yard? Just as you turn onto 30th ave from Marion Road?

*call the non emergency line and make a police report. contact all local vets, shelters, animal controls. post on local lost dogs groups (lost dogs MN), next door app, pawboost (dont pay the extra fees). Many times when someone finds a dog, these are the first places they call/post to * Put your well worn clothing out in your yard dirty towels, sheets, blankets too. Put clothes in all 4 corners of your yard. Place a blanket or dirty bed sheet on a clothes line or in a tree. Your animal knows your scent and it could help lead them back home (the wind throws your scent around and dogs have a great sense of smell). Put their dog bed outside, if they like their kennel, place that outside too (by whatever door they usually come inside at). Also do this at any sightings (where they were last seen) if anyone calls. Leave bedding, familiar scent, food. *If the animal is new to your house or you were dog sitting , Put put something that smells like them outside (dog bed, blankets kennel). *Put food in a bowl (super smelly food-tuna, wet cat food, plain cheese burgers, rotisserie chicken, hot dogs) AND dry dog food (puppy chow is full of fat which they need). *Buy liquid smoke and sprinkle It all around the parameter of your yard to the food bowl. I mix liquid smoke with chicken/beef broth and bbq sauce in a spray bottle and spray the area. *you can also bbq outside your house- the smells might bring them home *leave your garage door cracked, shed or porch door open just in case they come back in the middle of the night *if they went through an electric fence, make sure to turn it off so they can come back in the yard if they return home on their own Put up large, colorful street signs. This is SO important and key to getting your dog back. Put at least 5-10 signs out ASAP. Bright colored signs (by where they were lost, by any places they were sighted and on busy streets/intersections that people will see. Parks, churches, gas stations, grocery stores and by schools). Signs work wonders.. . a lot of people aren’t on social media (and a lot of people don’t follow lost pet sites) so it reaches everyone who drives by. I know it seems silly but SIGNS save dogs. Go buy bright colored poster boards (most dollar generals/stores will have). Make them double sided and put a piece of cardboard in between for sturdiness. Put your dogs picture on the left side and your phone number in BIG writing on the right side. Place them in big gallon size zip lock baggies (to protect them from the elements. Some people wrap the whole poster in clear packing tape to protect the whole sign from weather. Make sure to check on them frequently and replace the signs as needed. Signs need to go up 1. Where the dog went missing (outside your house OR on a busy intersection by your house) 2. On buys roads- if you’re out in the country- is there a main road that most people take in and out of town? If you have lots of busy roads (ones that goes to different towns) put them there too 3. Outside of busy places - grocery stores, gas stations, liquor stores (you need permission and most places are OK with it) 4. Is there a highway/freeway near you? The signs can’t go on the actual highway but a turn off? 5. Any road where you think lots of people will see it 6. At any sightings, if someone calls and says they saw the dog, put a sign, something that smells like you and food in that area. Try to get the exact spot they were seen 7. Try getting 10-20 out ASAP but of course a few is Better than none. Make a few and put them out closer to home- then make more And expand your signs (to outside towns too) https://youtu.be/USOjceq8GXc
