He should stay with in 3-5 houses in all directions if an inside cat. Put very smelly food out very late at night. Put signs up everywhere including both sides of mailbox for neighbors and postman. He will hide during the day coming out between midnight and 4 am. Do NOT put out litter. It will bring predators to scare him away. It can be a few days, weeks or months but do not give up. People can see and help. If there are sighting go on that site and ask if anyone has a trap as they can be very successful if he is around but you can’t capture him. Keep us posted
