Thank you to everyone that helped in the rescue of Louis- he was found on 8/1/26 at 10 am on my neighbors ROOF! So.. panic ensued as I lost all sense of control. Crying and sweating and begging for ladders etc. All while feeling completely helpless as he was feet away. Thank you Fir Chief Doug, of Prairie Village Ks. He stopped by and witnessed my freak out- he was comforting and calm, reassuring me it would be ok. Multiple attempts were made by several of my male neighbors- Thank you! Louis positioned himself at the steepest pitch possible!! Fast forward 2 hours and Animal Control Officer saved the day with a long pole and net! Thank you to that female officer, she was so kind with me. Louis was officially rescued at 12 pm yesterday. Again thank you to the entire rescue community, all social platforms. S many of you reached out , and for that I’m forever grateful!!!!
