Message from Owner

Please help us find Nala she means the world to us. She's an indoor only cat so we know she's terrified right now. Shes normally very skittish so if you see anything please contact us with the location instead of trying to grab her. Please share this to anyone in the adairsville area, particularly anyone in or around Manning Mill Way. Thank you.

Niko Southerland Purrr-fect ending! 😻 Please update any and all of your Pawboost posts to read REUNITED. Your comment that she's home doesn't follow everywhere the post was shared. When you update your post, the good news goes out to everyone's page it was shared to.

LOST INDOOR An escaped indoor cat will be scared and will want to get back inside. Typically, they do this at night in the safety of darkness. Right away, before it leaves to find food, keep the door/window it escaped from cracked open 24/7 to allow it back in. If it escaped from a window, put a box under the opened window to make it easier to get back in. Turn off porch and foyer lights and contain pets in another room. It might take all night for it to come back inside. Do not put food or litter box out because you don't want territorial cats or wildlife there who could keep kitty away. You can try sitting outside in the evening and jiggling its dish with food in it and calmly call it to come and eat, as you would normally do. Wait and listen for a meow. It might be afraid of you. Do not chase or follow it because you want it to stay by the house. Inform neighbors and post laminated, readable LOST fliers with pic and phone number and "Do Not Chase" on STOP signs. They have been known to get stuck in a garage or shed and to travel up to 500 feet or 9 houses away. Report lost cat to and check local animal control.. ONLINE recovery advice/support: go to LostCatsGeorgia.com (even if not in GA) and register. It is a free service.
