Description

All black with bandaged back legs PLEASE CALL US IF YOU FIND/SEE HER!! Our amazing kitty DUNKEL just had surgery for 3 infected paws. She was last seen out in our back yard yesterday at 4:30pm laying in the sun in her favorite spot and then she disappeared! She usually stays very close, is on pain and may be a little disoriented. At 10:30pm we found her front paw wrapping in the middle of the yard, she may have already pulled off her other two wrappings/bandages- she has stitches on her 3 paws which should not be outside right now, She was supposed to have her bandages taken off today and should be on pain for her post-surgery paws! Poor kitty has been through so much over the past few months, taking antibiotics for her infected paws and then needing surgery to finally fix the infection- now we are worried she is in pain and might hurt her incisions!! Please let u know if you see a black cat of any kind! She is about 10 lbs with the sweetest cry!

Why was she outside in the first place?!?! That’s insane. She should have been protected indoors until she healed. She’ll probably get a massive infection now being out in dirt and debris. That poor cat deserves a better home!

Rebecca Morris Fiene she said in the post she had infected paws. And you can see only 3 are bandaged.

If she is 4 paw declawed then she is definitely in danger. A live trap with smelly food in it and a trail cam trained directly at the opening definitely is recommended. Then you keep a very close eye on both. Hopefully she is chipped

No matter how long your kitty has been gone, stay vigilant with all lost cat protocols and advice - kitty may have been taken in by a well meaning person and could be very near - keep posters and flyers fresh and communications current with local animal control, vets, and rescues for new leads - keep the faith 💪🏼 Use whatever is applicable in the following for your situation: Extra strength prayers your kitty is safe nearby (cats usually stay in the vicinity) and home very very soon - put their food and warm shelter outside your door in a protected area and/or in your garage - diligently canvas the area and local businesses with large colorful posters and flyers - contact local animal control, vets, and rescues for any possible leads - cross post on neighborhood/community FB pages for further reach - cats are superior survivalists - stay vigilant in searching and don’t lose hope 🙏🏻❤️💪🏼 P.s. Beware of scammers saying they have found your kitty and to message them your contact information. And also how an Instagram/FB site helped them find their pet - don't click on site. All BS scammers. 🙏❤️💪🏼

Greta Kotz if they did i hope they don't give her back. Clearly the original owners are neglectful and incompetent.

I hope someone else found her and will give her a good home. Owner should be ashamed of themselves. This wouldn't have happened if they stayed inside.

Until the paws were healed and stitches removed, the "kitten" should have remained indoors. Jeez people.
