This sounds a little fishy. I've been in contact with the person who says they found them. It says they were found March 19th but they say the puppies are 6 weeks old. Well that was only 3 weeks ago. They also say they have given shots and will do deworming but wouldn't provide the vets name & phone number but told me I could talk to the vet but the vet might not give me any info. They say both male and female are $500 each and ready to breed. So guess we'll have to pass on adopting any of these little guys bc it just doesn't sound right. I also asked for pictures 3 times and they never sent any.

That's a cocker spaniel. I can't believe that someone wouldn't be looking for her. They are expensive & good dogs.

Thank you for being their angel! 😇 Take and leave what applies: Please go to a vet and get them checked for a chip, it’s free. Don’t assume, this/dog could have been found, stolen, abused, then dumped. Post your on all the lost and found pages(not just this one) and on Nextdoor. Notify shelter you have this babe so they can know in case someone comes in looking for it. You can also tell them you can foster(if you can). Make whoever comes forward prove with pictures and/or vet records this at this is their dog. You CANNOT rehome a cat/dog you just found, please look up the laws in your area, but there are certain procedures and a certain amount of time(typically 3-7days) you have to hold a dog before you can legally rehome it. If you end up having to rehome them, please get and verify vet and personal references, charge a rehoming fee, and get them fixed if they aren’t already to avoid contributing to our pet overpopulation problem. Call 211 for free and reduced spay/neuter. Some lower cost options I know of off the top of my head are: SafeHaven($45-60) and GetFixedOK in Tuttle. Please try to do everything in your power keep them out of the shelters because they sometimes euthanizing daily due to lack of space. 😢 Good luck. Most rescues are full but some can still help, especially if you can foster: https://www.dogloversdigest.com/oklahoma-rescue-shelters-and-organizations// https://www.petfinder.com/animal-shelters-and-rescues/search/?location=Oklahoma&shelter_Ppr

If still in need. I would encourage you to fill out this form with OK humane for her and if you still have puppies in your home. This rescue may be able to assist. 🙃 https://okhumane.org/re-home-your-pet/
