If you’re still missing your kitty, I saw a smaller tuxedo cat in the Jeske parking lot where W Capitol and Sanctuary drive meet about 10 minutes ago. I wasn’t able to get close and they seemed a little skittish. I didn’t want to chase it into an unsafe area but I did leave a message with the FVHA. I hope you find your kitty!Read More
I've been through this before. Often they are disoriented and will not come to you even if you call them by name. I've literally had to crawl into crawl spaces under my building and get one of mine. Once he was looking at me through bushes. My flashlight has helped catch his shadow and eye reflections.
I’m sorry your kitty is missing. Start searching now! Go outside and look under porches, decks, bushes and cars. Check window wells and storm drains. At night use a flashlight. The eyes will reflect the light. They typically don’t go far, but they do move around so you’ll need to search same areas multiple times. Cats also have an innate sense of smell. They should be able to follow their scent trail home. Put out food and water and familiar scented clothing or blanket. Alert your neighbors, local police, vet clinics, shelters and mail person. Put up and hand out signs and post on Nextdoor and any other neighborhood pages. Hoping you get your kitty back soon. ❤️Read More
