Red lab mix, amber eyes, very sweet, scared.

Message from Finder

This girl was starving, we have fed and watered her. No collar, looks to have been removed. If cannot find owner, need a rescue please. Some of my neighbors do not care for dogs. I do not want anything to happen to her. She is very gentle, like she is looking for someone. 😟

Make flyers with picture saying FOUND DOG. Put up 1-4 miles from where found. Not everyone has social media

Can you bring her inside out of this heat. She does need to be scanned for a chip. Are you close to a Vet or most Fire Departments can do it also.

Thank you for helping this pup! Here are some tips to help you find the owner: - If there’s a neighborhood Facebook page where the dog was found, post on there right away to reach the people who live in that area. - Put up FOUND DOG flyers all around the neighborhood or area where the dog was found with its picture and your contact info. - If there are adjacent neighborhoods close to the one where the dog was found, put flyers in those areas as well, because dogs may accidentally wander from one neighborhood to another, and then don’t know how to get home. - Email a copy of your FOUND DOG flyer to Animal Control to hang in their lobby in case the owner goes there looking for their missing dog. - Take the dog to be scanned for a microchip. Any Veterinarian will do it for free, and could help to track down the owner. - If someone does come forward claiming to be the owner, please get absolute proof of ownership, as some people will claim to own dogs that are not actually theirs, sometimes for nefarious purposes, and innocent pets could end up as Bait in dog fighting rings.
