I am sorry your pet is missing. Please file a missing pet report with MCACC: 602-506-PETS. Post & search their online missing/found map @ https://gis.maricopa.gov/ACC/Stray/index.html (please keep in mind posting on the County Straymap is not the same as making an official lost report with County). Also post on sites such as: Nextdoor.com, Petharbor.com, Ring.com, PawBoost.com, Straydar on Facebook & LostDogsArizona.org if you haven’t already. Please note that ALL the websites listed are not just for dogs but for other types of animals as well. If your pet is microchipped please make sure you contact your microchip company to notify of your pet missing and make sure all your contact info is updated at all times. Put up missing flyers & make sure you physically go to MCACC and check their shelter as well as make a report as stray holds at MCACC are 72 hours when no microchip is detected or County tags are not on when taken to shelter (5 day strayhold if microchip is detected or county tags are still on pet). Please keep in mind tags fall off and microchips can malfunction, fall out or get missed so please act fast and do not delay on reporting as lost. Get those flyers up and leave scent items such as your well worn clothing, dog toys or bedding outside to help your pet find its way back home. Prayers your pet is found and back home safe and soon.
