Our beloved community cat Frida has gone missing, and many of us at La Villita Community Church and Chicago Youth Boxing Club are hoping to bring her . Frida wandered into our building at 2300 S. Millard a few months ago and quickly became part of our community. On Sundays she was cared for and loved by the church congregation, and throughout the week she spent time with the youth at the boxing club in the bat. She brought a lot of joy to everyone who walked through our doors. Because I saw her every day, I helped take responsibility for making sure she had everything she needed to stay comfortable in the building. Many people pitched in with food, litter, beds, and care. She truly became a cat loved by many. Unfortunately, Frida got outside Wednesday morning, which we saw on our outdoor cameras, and she hasn’t returned since. There are many people here who miss her deeply and would love to see her come back. If you’ve seen Frida or have any information, please reach out. We would be so grateful for any help in bringing her back to the community that loves her.
