Myrtle Female Reptile

LOST PawBoost ID: 73073469

La Verne, CA 91750

Myrtle is Still Missing as of 7/20/26! Please let your neighbors in the area know, too. Please check around your open front yards, under bushes, and in corners. Myrtle is a senior female desert tortoise. I have had her since 1991! This is a photo of her in her younger years. Her actual color is lighter now. She is quite heavy and is more like the size of a platter than a plate. She is longer than she is wide.

Frequently Asked Questions

I lost my reptile. What should I do?

Take advantage of online platforms – they help you get the word out, quickly and easily. You can report your lost reptile to PawBoost in no time flat. We'll send an email alert to our local members, post to the PawBoost-powered Facebook page for your area, add your reptile to our lost & found, and make a lost reptile flyer – all for free.

Other sites that help you raise local awareness for your lost reptile with minimal time and effort are Nextdoor.com – a PawBoost partner – and Craigslist. Both of these sites have very active lost & found sections mainly used for lost pets. We highly recommend you use these resources in addition to PawBoost!

Visit your local shelters and animal control agencies in person. Details can get lost in translation over the phone and that might lead to missed connection.

If chipped, make sure your reptile's microchip is registered and up to date. If you don't know your pet's chip manufacturer or number, your vet should be able to help locate this information.

Put up flyers and tell your neighbors to be on the lookout. The more you engage the Fontana community, the better your chances of a happy reunion!
