Moostache Male Cat

LOST PET ID: 70298265

Phenix City, AL 36869

He is gray with little bits of white in his paws, chest and an actual white mustache underneath his nose over his lip. That is why we named him Moostache. He is a sweet boy but often runs from strangers. He will come to your porch though if food is outside. We just moved to Alabama from Indiana and he doesn’t know where is. We didn’t know there was a hole in the back corner of our kitchen in the ceiling and it lead to an attic access to escape from the roof and he was gone. My son and I are devastated and have been searching and searching for him with no luck. I pray someone sees him and he is safe. This is a busy road we live on and cars fly and then we have coyotes across the street. We are extremely worried. Thank you for your help.

Frequently Asked Questions

I lost my pet. What should I do?

Take advantage of online platforms – they help you get the word out, quickly and easily. You can report your lost pet to PawBoost in no time flat. We’ll send an email alert to our local members, post to the PawBoost-powered Facebook page for your area, add your pet to our lost & found, and make a lost pet flyer – all for free.

Other sites that help you raise local awareness for your lost pet with minimal time and effort are Nextdoor.com – a PawBoost partner – and Craigslist. Both of these sites have very active lost & found sections mainly used for lost pets. We highly recommend you use these resources in addition to PawBoost!

Visit your local shelters and animal control agencies in person. Details can get lost in translation over the phone and that might lead to missed connection.

If chipped, make sure your pet’s microchip is registered and up to date. If you don’t know your pet’s chip manufacturer or number, your vet should be able to help locate this information.

Put up flyers and tell your neighbors to be on the lookout. The more you engage the Box Springs community, the better your chances of a happy reunion!
