CATCAT IS HOME! ❤️🐾😭 WE FOUND OUR BABY! 🥹❤️ After 7 long days of worry, tears, prayers, and searching, our beautiful Catcat (Catriona) is finally SAFE AND BACK HOME WITH US! 🏡🐶💗 I honestly don’t have enough words to thank everyone who helped us during this difficult time. To everyone who shared our posts, kept an eye out, searched the neighborhood, sent us messages, gave us advice, prayed for her, and simply cared enough to ask about her THANK YOU FROM THE BOTTOM OF OUR HEARTS. 🙏❤️ The amount of love and support we received from our neighbors and the community meant more to us than you could ever imagine. During some of our hardest moments, your kind and warm-hearted messages gave us hope and reminded us that we weren’t searching alone. 🥹❤️ And to the person who found Catcat and helped bring our baby back to us THANK YOU SO MUCH. We are forever grateful. 🙏🐾❤️ Catcat is finally home where she belongs. She is safe, loved, and getting all the cuddles she missed. 🥹💗 Thank you to EVERY SINGLE PERSON who helped us bring our baby home. We will never forget the kindness our community showed us. ❤️ Our baby is HOME. 🏡🐶💗 With all our love and gratitude, Thank you, everyone. ❤️🙏🐾 First of all, I want to say this from the bottom of my heart: I am extremely grateful that my baby Catcat is home. ❤️😭 My whole family is so happy, and after everything we went through, having her back safely is something we will always be thankful for. I also want to share what happened because I think it is important for other pet owners to be aware. The person who found Catcat told us that they had found her on Monday and that they live right next door to us. I asked them if, after finding her, they took her to a vet and reported that she was a lost dog. They said yes. Catcat is microchipped, so if she was brought to a vet and her microchip was scanned and reported, we should have been contacted. I decided not to argue about that because, at the end of the day, I was just grateful that my baby was alive and coming home. ❤️ However, there was another part of the situation that honestly left me disappointed. When it came to the $500 reward, I felt like there was a lot of pressure and urgency surrounding the money. They repeatedly asked about the reward, and at one point I was told that they wouldn’t give Catcat back if I didn’t have the money. That really hurt me. I had already promised the reward and I fully intended to give it because I believe that someone who finds my lost dog and helps bring her home deserves to be rewarded. But when I was told that I needed to have the money in order to get my own dog back, it made me feel like my baby was being held hostage for the reward money. I understand that finding a lost dog can take effort, and I am absolutely grateful that they kept her safe. But I also believe that bringing someone’s beloved pet home should come from a place of compassion first, rather than focusing so heavily on the money. I want to be clear: I am not saying they stole Catcat. I don’t know exactly what happened during the days she was missing, and I don’t want to make accusations without proof. I am simply sharing how the situation made me feel and what I experienced. I genuinely believe the person who found Catcat deserved the $500 reward, and I am thankful that they helped bring her home. I just wish the experience surrounding the reward had been different. Most importantly, CATCAT IS HOME. 🥹❤️🐾 My family is happy. Our baby is safe. And that’s what matters most. This is also just a little awareness for everyone who has a fur baby: Please microchip your pets. ❤️ Keep their information updated. ❤️ Take extra precautions so they don’t get lost. ❤️ And if you ever find someone’s lost pet, please remember that behind that animal is a family who is probably scared, heartbroken, and desperately looking for them. I hope that if anyone ever goes through what we went through, their fur baby is found by someone who treats them with kindness, compassion, and a genuine good heart regardless of whether there is a reward. Once again, thank you to everyone who shared, searched, prayed, messaged us, checked on Catcat, and supported our family. Your kindness meant more to us than you know. Our baby is finally home. ❤️🐶🏡 Much love to everyone. 🙏❤️
