Zoe Female Dog

It’s been a rough 4 days trying to find Zoe. I want to put her story out there. Zoe got out of the yard. My mom and her neighbor, Crystal went searching for her. Neighborhood kids saw Zoe here and there and everywhere. I had a friend, “B” look up Facebook missing animal post. First search and Zoe’s picture pops up. Sherilyn was the woman that posted Zoe on line. I reached out to her and she gave me every bit of information that she possibly could. Jennifer O’Connor found Zoe. Jennifer contacted Sherilyn to ask for advice about what to do with Zoe. (Sherilyn does animal rescue/fosteriing). Sherilyn advised her to keep Zoe in a separate room for the night and in the morning bring her to the shelter to see if she had a chip. Jennifer agreed. But Jennifer had a pitbull. Her dog was going crazy because Zoe was in the other room. Jennifer got nervous so she sat outside with Zoe to diffuse the stress that her pitbull was in. These are the accounts that Jennifer explained to my mom, Sherilyn, Crystal the following day. Jennifer or her husband, Bobby said, they saw a big Spanish man walking back and fourth her hse. She then asked this man what was he looking for? The man replied, my dog, it’s white and black. Conveniently she was holding Zoe, who is white and black. So she gave Zoe to this man without confirming that it truly was his dog. When she was confronted by my mom she kept changing her story. I assume she knew what she did was wrong or the whole story was a fat lie! June 8 at 12:30 am I received a message from Facebook messenger about Zoe. This person explained that his female friend bought Zoe from a guy for $500. He said he saw my postings on Facebook and he felt bad so he wanted to help me get Zoe back. I wasn’t buying it until he showed me proof that Zoe was in his possession. I called Sherilyn that night. We spoke about it and she said it might be a scam and to be careful. That morning on June 8, he messaged me again. This time he wanted to meet somewhere public to give me my dog. But in return he said his friend wanted the $500 back. I told him it was not my stupidly to buy a random dog from a hse in the city where drug dealings took place. I agreed to meet him and his friend at the rose garden on Driving Park. I asked Crystal and her brother and sister to come along for back up. My mom and I parked right along the entrance to the park. I noticed a silver Nissan in front of us plate #LTH-7943. This was a scam from the beginning. The man and woman in the silver Nissan were the look out for me. He messaged me to ask if I’m in 2 cars. The Nissan then drives off after I confirm that I was in the white car. He tells me he’s on his way. If he was already there why would you be on your way. This young black kid came out of nowhere and approached my car on the passenger side. There’s Zoe under his arm. You can tell she was not in a good place because she didn’t have any life in her eyes, she had bad eye crust and her tongue 👅 was white. I’m bringing her to the vet today to make sure she’s healthy and well. In conclusion, there are so many missing animals out there. So beware of your neighborhood and the people that are in it. Indeed there is a scam going on about lost pets and the kidnappers embezzling money from their owners. Thank you for everyone’ s support and feedback. It warms my heart to know that there are people out there with humility.
