Sam Male Dog

LOST PawBoost ID: 71882804

Opelika, AL 36804

Sam is super friendly and will come up to anyone. My kids let him out and he has been missing since 8/3/2025 around 6pm. He’s 6.5 years old and he is greying in the face. He gets scared easily and he will cross a busy street. He’s probably really dirty because he loves to swim in our pond. His eyes are honey brown and his but is really white, tail is all chopped up from the groomers. Has on his collar but no tags because he pulled them off. I think the collar he has on right now is blue but could be his red one. Please bring my baby !!! Lauren Austin

Frequently Asked Questions

I lost my dog. What should I do?

Take advantage of online platforms – they help you get the word out, quickly and easily. You can report your lost dog to PawBoost in no time flat. We'll send an email alert to our local members, post to the PawBoost-powered Facebook page for your area, add your dog to our lost & found, and make a lost dog flyer – all for free.

Other sites that help you raise local awareness for your lost dog with minimal time and effort are Nextdoor.com – a PawBoost partner – and Craigslist. Both of these sites have very active lost & found sections mainly used for lost pets. We highly recommend you use these resources in addition to PawBoost!

Visit your local shelters and animal control agencies in person. Details can get lost in translation over the phone and that might lead to missed connection.

If chipped, make sure your dog's microchip is registered and up to date. If you don't know your pet's chip manufacturer or number, your vet should be able to help locate this information.

Put up flyers and tell your neighbors to be on the lookout. The more you engage the Tuskegee community, the better your chances of a happy reunion!
