File online found reports with shelters. Require proof of ownership. Take by vet to scan for chip. Post on Nextdoor and post flyers.

In all posts put FOUND with date and time did,piut in South Sacramento and also cross street with Sky Parkway. Post to Nextdoor App, Neighborsring App and South Sac lost and found pets Facebook Group.Include contact #.Any vet can do first scan for microchips.If not detected make sure you have shelter do second scan.Many times chips missed on one scanner and detected on next.File found report with Frontstreet shelter if found in City of Sac.If found in Sac County then Bradshaw shelter...They are completely full especially after winds we just had.If your willing to hold be sure to inform correct shelter. They will pay for vaccines, spay/neuter and microchips unless things have changed.Will be at risk to be euthanized if left due to overcrowding.If they are bonded and get adopted out high chance of being separated and will take a emotional toll on them.
