Miriam Castaneda its best to take to Arlington shelter where owner will have an opportunity to reclaim. If no reclaim within stray hold then adoption/ rescues can tag from shelter.

Miriam Castaneda further, it is illegal to rehome this dog this fast, especially without correctly sending out notifications that you have found it. Have you checked it for a chip at an emergency vet?

Miriam Castaneda hi you need to redo this pawboost alert. You have found this dog, not lost. It will send you an email to match other dogs and it will be other found dogs as it is right now. The owner may do a lost post, and it will send them an email of found dogs, and this one won’t be included because you have it on the lost side. Please redo.

Miriam Castaneda Thank you Miriam for helping that dog. It will not make it on the streets. Please have the dog scanned for a chip. It is free at any pet supply store with a clinic or any vets office. If not chipped and anyone tries to claim the dog please have them provide proof of ownership like a photo of the dog with the family. Withhold any distinguishing marks on the dog so only the family can identify them. Post on the Nextdoor App as more of your neighbors will see it and may know who this dog belongs to Post on the Ring Neighbors App you do not need to own Ring cameras to post a lost or found pet and it is free. Post lostmydoggie dot com it is just like pawboost. Beware of scammers on all the sites I mentioned and on Facebook.
