If your missing cat was a house cat they normally don't go too far. He's probably terrified and hiding somewhere. Go out late at night / early morning when it's quiet and try calling your cat. Look up in trees. If you used to give him cat treats, shake the can of cat treats or open a can of cat food so he can hear it. I hope you find him or her.
