Body was kind of chewed up when I found him. I figured taking him with me and trying to find the owner from there would be better and less traumatic for the owner, talking from experience.

Poor kitty. You’re so wonderful making sure this poor kitty’s end of life is respected. It’s hard thinking about what happened to him and hoping he didn’t suffer. Thank you for being who you are. Sadly, there are so many kitties that turn out to be homeless/abandoned/neglected… 😔

Please take to a local vet to be scanned for a chip. If no chip, please knock on doors in the area asking if anyone knows who the cat belongs to. Post flyers in the area where the cat was found and leave on doorsteps. Fingers crossed this kitty is reunited soon.
